Favorite Server OS: ! Solaris && ! Windows
Bio:
My personality resembles a ninja with a curiosity problem. I have a decent amount of experience and wisdom but that won't stop me from walking right up to a shark and poking it with a stick to see if it will bite. I have been addicted to computers since I was 12 and I am constantly trying to teach myself new tricks. I look for technologies in their infancy and try to share what I find with my friends and coworkers. If you want to see what I'm currently poking with a stick check out my bookmarks at http://del.icio.us/gekitsuu.
What do you bring to the table?
Snakes and valuable stones.
Umm....Ok. What do you bring to this group?
Nitrogen Triiodide

Favorite Server OS: Solaris || FreeBSD
Bio:
After finishing Redhat many moons ago (the final boss was tough) I moved on to FreeBSD in search of a more logical and secure kernel for my tastes. I've spent about 5 years tooling with FreeBSD before finally being volunteered to be the newest 'Solaris Admin' for my company. Out of a constant fire-drill style need for Solaris knowledge I have been able to take in a large amount of information about the OS and SPARC hardware in the last year. To date I prefer FreeBSD for my own personal projects, but when someone else is floating the bill for the hardware I enjoy working on Solaris systems.
What do you bring to the table?
A love of packet filtering, and a goat.
Umm....Ok. What do you bring to this group?
Audible sound.
Favorite Personal Quote:
A good interface programmer must always ask himself, "is this dumb enough?"

Favorite Server OS: Depends on the job of the server
Bio:
I liked tinkering with computers when I was in grade school and taught myself Basic back in the day. I've always been good with computers. So, I decided to get a job selling them. Then started fixing them. Then building them and so on up to being a SysAdmin today. I like trying new things. So, I have a wide range of experience and am generally OS agnostic. Whatever OS is best for the job is generally the one I go with. I just wish I could find more use for OS/2 these days. ;)
What do you bring to the table?
Knife, fork, spoon, and bottle of hamster.
Umm...Ok. What do you bring to this group?
If I can't figure out how to fix something I can have loads of fun smashing it.
